Strata buildings are everywhere we look, from apartments and townhouses to offices and shops. They are complex properties that require special insurance coverage to protect them from various risks. As a strata insurance broker, you will help strata owners and managers find the best insurance policies for their needs and budgets. You will also assist them with claims and renewals, ensuring they have adequate and appropriate insurance at all times.

About you

  • Previous experience in insurance and/or knowledge of strata management required
  • Attention to detail: You can perform tasks accurately and efficiently, avoiding errors and ensuring quality standards.
  • Processes: You can follow established procedures and guidelines, as well as suggest improvements and innovations when appropriate.
  • Admin experience: You have previous experience in performing administrative duties, such as managing records, scheduling appointments, organising meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Problem solving: You can identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner, using analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • Logical thinking processes: You can apply logic and reasoning to various situations, making sound decisions and judgments based on facts and evidence.
  • Computer literacy: You are proficient in using various software applications, such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools.
  • Professional attitude: You demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude towards your work, colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, adhering to ethical principles and organisational values.
  • Customer service experience: You have previous experience in providing excellent service to customers, meeting their needs and expectations, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Written communication: You can communicate clearly and effectively in writing, using appropriate tone, style, grammar, and punctuation.

About the role

  • Provide guidance and support to clients around the range of strata insurance products we offer.
  • Deliver strong insurance solutions and seek competitive quotations for your clients.
  • Process Strata insurance quotations, new business, renewals, invoices, policy accounting information and other necessary documentation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders including strata managers, owners, underwriters, and insurers.
