The role of a Senior Account Executive is to work closely with our clients to understand their business and manage their insurance program, liaising with insurers to ensure that they are adequately covered.
About you
- You are an experienced broker in general insurance. You have gained this knowledge from broking and/or underwriting roles.
- You have a sound knowledge of all major quoting platforms
- You have a strong knowledge of broking compliance requirements
- You adopt a proactive approach to all aspects of account management, new business, and service delivery
- You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable and confident relating to customers and attending client and potential client meetings
- You are tenacious and determined when faced with complex placements or high-volume periods
- You enjoy being part of a team and are comfortable supporting others and sharing knowledge
- You want to be part of a growing organisation
About the role
- Manage and grow a portfolio of all lines of general insurance, including financial lines
- Provide a high level of expertise, guidance, and support to clients around insurable risks and a range of insurance products
- Deliver strong insurance solutions and seek competitive quotations for your clients
- Process in a timely manner any required invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, COC, and other necessary documentation
- Develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders including clients, underwriters, and insurers
- Help identify and execute new business opportunities
