The Coverforce Board of Directors are responsible for appointing the Chief Executive Officer and the overall governance, management and strategic direction of the business.
Developing and setting clear strategy for the business and then implementing it are vital to the success of the business.
Coverforce Board members meet several times per year to discuss high level business decisions and strategy that impact the overall performance and compliance of the business. Each board member is able to draw on a wealth of relevant experience and knowledge to the benefit the group.
Robert Kelly
Chairman
Robert co-founded Steadfast and has over 52 years experience in the insurance industry.
Robert is a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker, a Fellow of NIBA, a Senior Associate of ANZIIF, a Certified Insurance Professional and a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Robert is the Chairman of the ACORD Board and is also a Director of ASX-listed Johns Lyng Group Limited and not-for-profit organisation KidsXpress.
Tony Goldsmith
CEO & Managing Director
Tony joined Coverforce in 2016 as CEO of Coverforce Partners and was promoted to CEO of Coverforce Pty Limited in October 2022. He brings with him over 28 years of insurance industry knowledge and his career with both insurers and insurance brokers has benefited him with an extensive network of insurer and broker relationships.
Successfully building Coverforce Partners from a start-up operation to an established National Broking network – Tony’s experience in Merger & Acquisitions, Strategic Planning, Sales Management and Operational execution have been key ingredients to the ongoing success of Coverforce as a thriving business. Tony holds a Graduate Diploma of Insurance.
Stephen Humphrys
Director
Stephen has over 30 years experience as a Chartered Accountant and extensive experience in acquisitions, integration of networks and developing businesses.
As Managing Director of Moore Stephens Sydney for 10 years and Chairman of Moore Stephens Australasia for three, Stephen played a key role in placing Moore Stephens into the top 10 accounting firms in Australia.
Duncan Ramsay
General Counsel & Company Secretary
Duncan joined Steadfast in June 2014 after 20 years at QBE where he was Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. Duncan's career commenced in 1986 with Freehills in Sydney. He holds degrees in commerce and law, and a graduate certificate in applied risk management.
Duncan is a Fellow of ANZIIF and the Governance Institute of Australia, as well as a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
